Home2 Suites by Hilton today celebrated the topping out of the brand’s first hotel in Nashville, Tenn. Owner and developer North Point Hospitality Group broke ground on the property in Spring 2011 and has now officially laid the final beam to complete the outside structure.

Engineer was Chosen from Nearly 50,000 Team Members Worldwide as "Spirit of CARE" award winner   Hilton Worldwide has honored David Laufman, Engineer, of the DoubleTree by Hilton Historic Savannah with the company's Spirit of CARE Award. This award designates Laufman as a top performer within DoubleTree by Hilton Hotels. Today, at 2:30pm Hilton Worldwide will celebrate David Laufman's award at the DoubleTree on Bay Street.

North Point Hospitality Group, Inc. today announced the ground breaking of its newest hotel project, a dual branded Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites by Hilton Hotel. The official ceremony will take place on Thursday, August 18 at 2pm with elected officials, local dignitaries and Senior Executives from Hilton Hotels Corporation and North Point Hospitality Group in attendance.

The 66,000-square-foot Home2 Suites will include 119 rooms over seven stories, according to Lizabeth Theiss, director of business development with J.E. Crain & Son, which will break ground on the project next month. Currently, 20 Home2 Suites are under construction or breaking ground across the United States. Only two are currently open.

The Doubletree Hotel Atlanta/Alpharetta-Windward, owned and operated by North Point Hospitality Group, recently added to its already crowded trophy case when it was named a 2009 Pride Award winner by Hilton Hotels Corporation for outstanding hotel performance. This is the fourth consecutive year that the Doubletree Hotel Atlanta/Alpharetta-Windward has won this prestigious award.
